Impressions of Northern Italy

Here are a few pictures I took on my recent trip to Italy - well recent-ish, it was in week 7.

View from the airplane flying to Italy

Views from the car driving down from Madesimo after five days of skiing.

Fork clip seen in the window of a kitchen furniture shop in Milano

The mordern thing on the roof is a pop up restaurant

Apparantly someone goes around Milano putting these sticker things on the signs. I like the design and it doesn't take away the meaning of the signs. :)

I would have loved to bring this lamp home, unfortunately I didn't think fast enough - so it stayed in Milano.

At first I didn't know why I had taken this picture, but when you look closely you can see why. It was taken on our way from Milano to somewhere - I'm afraid I have forgotten the name.

Isn't it a sweet little house? Very fairytale like. This is not in Milano, but I can't remember the name of the town.

This was the house of a ropeway going up on top a mountain where there are a lot of chapels displaying the stations of the cross. Quite an experience.

The two pictures above show cabbage that was used for decorations. I have seen them used in New York as well, apparantly they are a very easy and robust plant.

That is all for now, I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Until next time keep safe. :)
