DIY - Flower Pendant

I am a big fan of the blog Young House Love. When I recently came across it I decided to look at some of the previous projects to see if they were something I should follow (good projects are a must for me). Gosh I was in for a treat Sherry and John have undertaken sooooo many fantastic things. I will definitely try to get my fingers on a copy of their book. :)

Anyway, to the DIY.
I saw this DIY and just had to make it. Picture from Young House Love find the post here: Makin a mobile.

I did not have any thin wire, so mine is not as whimsical. I used the wiring that was in the "stem" of the flowers - I stripped them of the plastic coating and then shaped them into hoops that I joined by the aid of my gluegun.
Using a hobbyknife, carefully, cut a split in the little plastic thing that holds the flower to the stem. Then place it on the metal wire and glue in place. Repeate process and you should be left with:

I found it was easier to glue some flowers in clusters and then glue them to the structure.

It does not look anything like the mobile Sherry and John made, but I still like it. Thank you so much for the inspiration. Keep up the good work.
